JUST BEET IT! With the BEETROOT





WELCOME to Sohaila’s “BREAK-SPOT” where we “BEET IT” today blending beets, kale, coconut water, ginger to taste.  Involving “DYNAMIC STRENCHING” with squats and lunges in place, strengthen our muscles.

SHE IS TRULY OUR MIRACLE


 Our experience came closer to home. You see above our daughter as a little girl, now all grown up, Andriana in the picture with another family member, Nadia.  Some years ago our daughter was in an accident that almost caused us to lose her. We were in our country Panama on a family vacation. She was about 8yrs. when playing with her brother and cousins, I believe to see who could run faster. We all know she carries that torch, she is a fast runner. Well in so doing did not see the glass and ran right through it. Ending up in the emergency with lots of deep cuts and loss of blood. Required God who sent us a great surgeon, to pull her through.  Dr. Alba from the “Hospital del Niño", but most importantly through the family’s blood donor-ship and prayers for us to make all the right decisions. Later we found out we may have to leave the country without her because of her low blood level and her weak immune system.  Our uncle who at that time visiting from Spain studied nutrition. He knew what we needed to feed her to boost her immune system and raise her blood level. We “BEET” IT!

Taste of Red, White, Brew, Clear?




Would you like a bear, wine, cocktail?
That is a common question ask to our group of Ladies when we go out together. We all have different taste buds.  My taste was to savor on a glass of wine for the night. I was in control and it was one are two sips before I hit the dance floor.  We enjoyed our self. At home they were two wines I was familiar with, Sangria, and Amaretto.  However, when I went out with my gentleman he would order the wine for me, Amaretto. The brew or bear was what me and my sisters was taught to make with milk in the blender on the weekends, with cinnamon and nutmeg, delicious.


OUT "PARTING"!
At the Bars University while parting I decided to do something difference. I tried a cocktail called a "Slow Comfortable Screw" and after about, I am going to say ten sips. I was informed that all I did was GIGGLE. The following day I did not recall my behavior. That behavior gave me the "GIFT" of no longer drinking at all. So now what I drink is "CLEAR" and it hydrates my body is called "WATER". 


DOES DEHYDRATION CARRY Consequences? 
My performance of not recalling what went on after a cocktail drink sent me on a research for self and to share. Dehydration a one percent loss of body mass due to fluid lost. It reminded me of my Dad. He was a tall handsome built gentleman. Who became fragile. He was a heavy drinker and Cigar smoker. His immune system was low when he became ill. He did not make it. Thirty six years old he left the earth. Later we were informed that if he was alive today he would be on dialysis. See, water makes up 60% of our body weight and we have to maintain that hydration. Alcohol turns into sugar when it hits our system overpowering the work the organs perform. Water is the crucial conductor of nutrients and waste products between our major organs and helps regulate temperature. When Your body is properly hydrated it Allows for the following HEALTHY performance:
